Brittany is SIX!!

Brittany and Madysen are SIX YEARS OLD!! They had a ROLLER SKATING party together at the Rollerdrome in Centralia! There were close to fifty skaters and fun was had by all!

Game Day: Aiyana

Aiyana's first soccer game EVER was today! She plays right and left defender and tonight she played 90% of the game. She did a great job! GO WILDCATS!!! Here, she's pictured in her "game day" attire for school - a jersey and jeans. The camera's all charged so we'll have pictures of her in ACTION after tomorrow's game.

September 11, 2007: BMW Birthday Dinner at Home

On September 11, Brittany got to choose ANYTHING for dinner. So...of course...you guessed it...she picked MAC AND CHEESE. So mom went to the store and bought elbow macaroni, lots of nice cheese...and spent 45 minutes in the kitchen making a delicious white cheese sauce she poured over the macaroni prior to cooking it in the oven for half an hour. And...of course...Brittany wasn't impressed and would have preferred KRAFT.

Brittany's Last Five Year Old Kiss

Tonight when I tucked Brittany into bed, I asked her to give me one last five year old kiss that i can keep as a memory forever. She put her hands on both sides of my face and looked at me with her little eyes glassy and said,

"Mommy, remember this forever: I - WILL - ALWAYS - BE - YOUR - LITTLE - GIRL."

I will remember it forever...even when she is telling me, "Mommy, I'm not a little girl anymore!" Especially when she is telling me that...

BMW: Soccer Picture Day

You'll see that quite a few of these pictures are uncharacteristically blurry....the photographer was having a fit about me taking pictures. He said I would have to "set them up myself" if I wanted to take the shots. Okay...so the lame-o soccer pics of other people's children on a public soccer team in a public park...I'm not going there. Thank you Photography by Robin. :) Of COURSE, once I get the pictures, I'll post them here.
