On August 31, 2007 Aiyana Wrzesinski, Olivia Miess, Erin Wrzesinski, Kendall Stanley and Katie Wentzel (joined by a little sis, Brittany, and moms/drivers, Chandra and Marci) of Girl Scout Troop #289, made a late night shopping trip to WalMart to buy the supplies for this year's Kids that Care project. These young ladies make care packages for children placed into Foster Care; so they have a few things to call their own. GS Troop #289 invited thier partner Brownie Troop, Shayna McGovern, Brittany Wrzesinski, Maddison Blum and Billie Wells to help them package the colored pencils, tablets, toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, and other age specific items (razors and deoderant for the big kids and crayons for the little kids).Thanks to SOROPTIMISTS of Centralia-Chehalis for thier consistent financial support of this wonderful project!
